    Mulitple Install Problems

    Hi,

I was following the instructions to set up a multiple site, aka:

    home/site1
    home/site2

I installed site 1 just fine but when I go to run install on site2, using the same name and dbase, I get this error:

Error: 1050 Table 'esselbach_st_stories' already exists

    Thanks again,

    -Jason

Only the licensed version suppports multiple websites. The freeware version does not.

Ah, ok, just bought that last night anyhow so cool.

2nd Question, when the license says 3 domains, does that mean 3 different admin panels of 99 websites each?

You can install this on 3 websites which share the same database. Additional domain licenses are available in the members area for $18/each. Up to 99 websites are support by the software.

I am sorry, I am still not following you, can I do this with the current license

Domain 1 has 99 stryteller installations
Domain 2 has 99 stryteller installations
Domain 3 has 99 stryteller installations

    OR

    Are you saying that

Domain 1 has 3 stryteller installations and if I want more than 3 I have to pay?

    Mulitple Install Problems

Let me explain what I am trying to do. I want to create websites for each of my clubs all using the same installation of ST, for example:

    trackpads.com/club1
    trackpads.com/club2
    trackpads.com/club3
    trackpads.com/club4
    trackpads.com/club5
    etc. etc.

Is this possible or do I am I going to have to purchase each new club after #3 with a new domain license?

You can run up to 3 installations or websites. E.g. Domain 1,2,3 with 1 installation or Domain 1 with two installations, Domain 2 with one installation, or a single domain with three installations.

    Agh,

You should probably make that more clear on the products page. I was under the impression of the reverse (ie e different databases with 99 installs).

Is there any limit to the number of free installs in seperate databases we can have then? Or is there a bulk option instead of $18 each?

No, there is no install limit with the freeware version.

How many installations do you need and to what for? You could also send this to office [at] esselbach [dot] com. I will try to find the best solution for you.
