    Invision 3.0

    Hello everyone,

I have IPB running at http://www.newezone.com

I need a CMS to run my newezone > World section.

I have decided against PHP-Nuke, because 1). It's too bloated and I ALWAYS have problems with it. 2). IPB isn't supported.

I have decided against Geeklog, (even though I like the software) because IPB isn't supported.

I've just found this site. I had a quick look at the demo and I am impressed, but I noticed on the min page that IPB 3.0 doesn't seem to be supported.

    So, I have some questions:

    1). When/will IPB 3.0 be supported?

2). If I install the system, is it reversible if I don't like it?

3). If I install the FREE system, so that I can see if it fits my needs, can I upgrade to the full version without further upgrade hassles.

I really don't like adding mods/hacks to my websites. As soon as something changes, everything becomes a chore. Especially if I have two softwares running together.

Also, can I just install the software on a normal (up to date) server environment (*nix), or do I need to install other modules?

    Thanks!

IPB 3.0? The latest Invision Power Board version is 2.0.1, which is already support by the CMS

Yes. You only need to remove the scripts and the esselbach_st_* tables from the database.

Yes, the licensed version comes with an upgrade script (cupgrade2.php) for the freeware version

The CMS works on any *nix server with PHP/MySQL.

    The minimum system requirements are:
    PHP 4.0.3
    MySQL 3.22
